Once again, I find myself passionate to share more than just fashion. Over my blogging journey, I have been incredibly blessed to work with many incredible brands that curate their collections from the heart and stand up for a greater purpose beyond beautiful clothes. When I find a brand that shares the same vision of creating a community of women who feel empowered to embrace their uniqueness and be who they are meant to be, I am overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude. These are the moments I live for and inspire me to keep doing what I do and sharing what I love. Today I share the brand Iron Lily, whose goal from the very beginning was to make a difference in the world through one woman at a time.
About Iron Lily:
I had the exciting opportunity to sit down for coffee with the founder and CEO of Iron Lily and was immediately captivated by her story. A story, like so many of us can relate to where the harsh realities of this world can make us feel let down and inferior. A story that finds hope and freedom in embracing who you truly are.
As women, we are pushed to live a certain way, to dress a certain way, even speak a certain way. Anything outside that norm and we are martyred for our differences. Simply put, why? Be weird. Be different. Be who you want to be. Do what you find passion and happiness in! -Iron Lily
Iron Lily celebrates this way of thinking by inspiring women to highlight their strengths, in whatever area that may be. Reading her story again on her About Us page nearly brought me to tears again. Every word is intentionally written and shows the true heart behind her brand.
That’s what stirred me to the core. Every woman deserves the opportunity to feel empowered to be fully themselves. To feel like they fit in and to change their perceptions from seeing their imperfections as something beautiful and perfectly imperfect.
What I’m wearing:
I’m wearing the Iron Lily Rise Above Tank (in black) and Awaken Leggings (in gray). For reference, I’m 5’9 and wearing size smalls in both the top and bottoms and the fit is absolutely incredible. Aesthetically, it is more than I could have ever asked for with detailing that stands out and speaks for itself. It truly is designed with the unique female form in mind.
The entire collection is made from a completely buttery soft material and without a doubt is the comfiest set of athletic attire I have ever owned. The fabric is extremely high quality and enhanced with compression technology that increases blood flow and circulation. Not to mention the moisture wicking fabric is a huge highlight for me so that I can sweat in confidence. I love to dance, hike, do yoga, and go running and Iron Lily is made for it all. When wearing Iron Lily I feel comfortable, sexy and ready to conquer any activity with a smile!
