I am so excited that I only have a few more days until a nice relaxing two weeks off. The life of a Kindergarten teacher is strenuous work sometimes, so I feel extra excited when I get some downtime just for me. Luckily, my husband is taking two weeks off too so we get to spend more time with each other and unwind from all of works stresses. As a teacher professional, I love to style my outfits with blazers. But for the evenings, a moto jacket is what I’m all about! It’s amazing how with a change of a few accessories (or just ONE), you can create an effortless look from your desk at work to date night fun.
Outfit One: Work
For daytime at the office, you’re going to want to appear a little more professional. That’s why I chose to go with a blazer. Are boots too casual for your office? If so, a classic black pump will do the trick. If you’re unsure about your office dress code, perhaps you will need to exchange the textured tights for some opaque tights. I remember one time I wore a pair of tan color striped tights and my boss jokingly laughed and asked me, “What’s on your legs?!” Let’s just say I didn’t wear those again.
Outfit Two: Date night!
For me evenings are all about bringing a little more edginess to my outfits. That’s why I LOVE moto jackets. Textured tights are really fun for evenings, especially in the winter, but there’s no stopping you from going with bare legs and some edgy heels. I’m definitely used to being a little cold for the sake of fashion! Today I got asked by three people, “Aren’t your feet cold?” Let’s just say it was 38 degrees outside and I was pulling off the flats and bare feet look. 🙂
Hope you enjoyed this post featuring two outfits in one! I’d love to hear, how do you style your outfits from day into night?
