Yes, I’m wearing white after Labor Day and loving it! Why you might ask? Because there are no rules to fashion! No matter the season, I am telling you now that it is perfectly acceptable to wear white after Labor Day. It is an old fashion rule, and if Coco Chanel herself wore white after Labor Day it is definitely not a rule I will be adhering to. While I am still transitioning my wardrobe and it is not officially fall yet, I am OK with wearing white jeans, especially when the weather is still warm outside. As long as it looks good and you have a smile on your face, I say there is no problem with wearing it!
This dark blue Gingham shirt I got in a recent Labor Day J. Crew Factory sale and is perfect for this fall transition. It’s not officially fall yet and I am convinced that it’s OK to want summer to stay a little longer. Winters can be so dreadfully long in the Seattle area.
I paired the Gingham with my white jeans and added cognac accents to bring some fall colors to mix.
My most recent Bauble Bar earrings are fringe and sparkle – two things which I cannot live without! The brushed metal fit perfectly with my bag and shoes.
These jeans wouldn’t be so great if they didn’t have the awesome distressed look like Express gives. They are my favorite pair of white skinny jeans and I am not ready to put them away yet!
Rolling the jeans makes it perfect to show off the Michael Antonio heels with an adorable ankle strap. This HauteLook find couldn’t get any better!
And finally, this Jessica Simpson bag is an oldie but goodie. The color is great for fall and I love the cute pockets it has.
