Hey lovelies! I know what you’re thinking. Another red and black post?! This girl is out of control! But to be honest, red is that one holiday color that I never get sick of. I love it so much I even focused my Christmas decor around pops of red and silver — more on that later! The cashier at Home Goods informed me that red is such a popular color this year for Christmas, but I thought to myself, “Isn’t it always?” With this coat helping me embrace winter fashion in confidence and adorable bows to brighten up rainy days, I couldn’t get enough of this easy look. Where are the bows you ask? Read on to find out!
SURPRISE! My boots have adorable bows. Since wearing these Poppy Clips on my boots I’ve received so many more compliments on my “boots,” but let’s be honest, I always tell them it’s about the bows. Although I am obsessed with my Ted Baker boots. It’s so fun to snap off the clips that are magnetized and watch people’s reactions turn to surprise. They thought it was my boots that had the darling addition of these bows. Can’t wait to get more bows and feel like I’m wearing a new pair of boots each time!
You may have read my recent post about finding the perfect Winter coat, and in it I shared a special style tip. It’s all about finding a color you love. For me, when I purchased this coat last year from Express, that color was red! It makes such a bold statement and I feel so holiday ready every time I wear it. Yes, it may be bold and striking, but your outerwear should definitely make a statement too!
What better way to finish off a winter look than with a pom beanie and leather gloves? These Ted Baker gloves were a Christmas gift last year. Best gift ever! The bows add the sweetest touch of femininity and continue my love for anything with bows.

We all have those challenging days in our lives where it feels like nothing but clouds is ahead of us. It’s cold, it’s wet, it’s very uncomfortable and often depressing. I’m here to remind you that whatever storm you’re facing today, you will make it through, and you will be more beautiful and stronger than ever for it. I’ve learned in the rainy seasons of my own life is that there needs to be rain to allow me to appreciate the sun that much more.
Remember what rain brings: growth.
So next time you’re feeling overcome by the gray clouds and rainy days in your life, remember that we all need the rain in order to experience the beauty of the flowers. Rain brings growth. Embrace the rain and allow it to challenge you and change you into becoming more like the person you want to become. Keep your head up, keep smiling, and find a way to dance wholeheartedly through the storm.
Soon, the sun will shine again.
