Hi everyone! Today is my Friday and I’m off to Priest Lake, Idaho tomorrow to enjoy the last bit of summer before I head back to teaching. One last summer thrill! This summer I took a road trip to L.A. where I purchased this paisley print dress in a little boutique. I’m not usually one to purchase souvenirs, but I love to purchase clothing or accessories to add to my closet each place I go. Often it’s a piece of jewelry. It’s a great memory and each time I wear it I remember all the fun I had on my trip!
I was immediately drawn to this print, because of the contrast between the dark and light sections and patterns of small and large paisley print. It isn’t too busy looking and the color is so warm, which is great for a fall transition.
The stylist at the store was so sweet and wanted to help me style this dress. She recommended the bow being on the side so it creates a longer line and gathering the fabric towards the center to give me more of a waste. I had so much fun letting her give me all the great tips for it!
I was excited to pair the dress with the most perfect wedges I have ever owned. I picked out these black suede wedges on my first trip to New York last year at the Michael Kors store. Are you catching a shopping trend?!
This clutch was another find from my L.A. road trip. We stopped by some outlets near San Francisco and I found it at an Aldo outlet store. I knew it would be the perfect black clutch to add to my summer dress attire.
One last thing, I purchased these Kate Spade sunglasses on my second trip to New York. See, I told you I like to shop on vacations!

Thank you! I love these wedges and wear them so much they’ve been definitely worth the price tag. Sometimes finding the right shoe is worth it! I think I got the bracelet at forever 21. They always have a large selection of jewelry, which I love to find little treasures in.
