From the flowers in full bloom to the celebration of our mothers, it seems like so many special things happen in May. Being born only a week before Mother’s Day, my mom calls me her Mother’s Day present. Cue the head tilt and “Awwww, how sweet!” But let’s face it, I can’t be her present every year, so my brothers and I have to get creative. And there’s nothing quite like jewelry to honor a special someone or commemorate a special occasion! Today I’m partnering with Something Silver to showcase some amazing pieces that your mom is sure to LOVE!
When I asked my mom what she really wanted for Mother’s Day this year, she said how much she always loves things that have enduring sentimental value; something that showcases memories of her children like birthstones or a locket, or a unique piece of jewelry to wear in remembrance. Maybe I inherited my jewelry obsession from her, because I’m always picking up new pieces from special places I’ve been. Something Silver is full of these types of treasured pieces.
I was immediately drawn to this locket from their Anatoli collection because it’s on a bracelet which is so rare to find, and a perfect example of how unique each Something Silver piece is. With the elegant detailing of this bracelet and a matching Amethyst necklace (my mother’s birthstone), it seemed the perfect reminder of my mother. She is so full of grace, and this collection perfectly represents that elegance! And of course, I had to keep the look trendy and chic by layering a Dolcetti piece made by a designer in Portland, Oregon. I was amazed by the delicacy of the design featuring a classic pearl with sparkly champagne and white diamonds! What mom wouldn’t want that?!
Between a variety of bracelets or necklaces to layer, cross rings, stackable rings, statement rings (like this Kit Heath Ring), or elegant hoop earrings, there is something for any mom to love in this store. This “darling” ring really caught my eye. It comes from their newest Workhorse collection, which I love because of the vintage, time-worn feel of the pieces. The “key” bracelet I’m wearing is yet another exciting piece from their unique Los Angeles-based line.
Want to give your mom something a little more playful and fun? I would recommend building a customized “Mom” necklace out of a local Seattle designer’s mom charm with the addition of some birthstone charms. I’m the youngest of three and I know my Mom would love seeing all three of our different birthstones on one necklace!
I’d love to hear – Which one of these pieces would your mom love?!
Everything I’m wearing in this post is from Something Silver. I was in jewelry heaven this weekend walking around their store at U-Village looking at such amazing, delicate and unique pieces. I even asked the gal who worked there, “How could you not want to buy everything, every day you come into work?!” She laughed and admitted she definitely does!
Something Silver is generously offering Style Miss Molly readers an exclusive 15% discount using the code MOLLY through Mother’s Day. Maybe you can buy yourself a little something with the extra money you saved! 😉
If you’re in the Seattle area or any of their six locations, I’d highly recommend strolling around one of their stores. I’m anticipating you’ll fall in love with their pieces as much as I did and want to take it all home! And if you’re not in the Seattle area, you can definitely get lost on their website too! Something Silver definitely knows how to select high quality, one-of-a-kind pieces that you simply can’t find anywhere else.
*This post was sponsored by Something Silver, but all opinions in this blog post are my own! I have a passion for all the jewelry in this amazing store and would never recommend something I didn’t love!
