We all know the importance of having a Little Black Dress in your closet, but today I’m talking about a new essential item — the Little White Dress. Having a perfect dress that makes you look and feel great is definitely a must have and this white lace midi hits all those aspects for me. For the summer, it may just be replacing the LBD. I’ve been finding white dresses to be so feminine and a fresh new look for those summer nights. 1. It can be worn on multiple occasions
Whether it’s for a summer girl’s trip, a picnic, a date night with your man, or a day out in the city, wearing a white dress is a beautiful option for keeping your summer wardrobe fresh and updated. It is extremely versatile for that reason and there are so many fun ways to style it! Who doesn’t want that?!
2. It is the color of the season
Nothing says summer like white. It looks bright and cheerful for the sunshine and keeps away the summer heat. I’m feeling extra flirty in this little white dress and love the poise that comes from an elegant white dress! It’s feminine, fresh, and summery and it is the color I find myself wearing most of this season. “I have too much white in my closet,” said no one ever!

1. Accessorize with neutral accessories
I find this a great way to elevate your look and take it to the next level. It remains sophisticated and elegant and keeps the focus on the LWD. Of course you can add pops of color which you know I love to do, but be sure to let that white dress be the star of the outfit.

When finding your perfect LWD you want to find a style that flatters your body type. A-line dresses are the most universally flattering (like worn in this post), but you can also choose mini or midi lengths depending on your comfort level. Personally, I found this dress to be the most flattering fit for me and I couldn’t help but obsess over the lace details!
3. Play it up with a bold lip color
To add a wow factor to the finishing touch, wear a bold red lip. Red is classic and contrasts the white in a beautiful and powerful way. It will also leave you feeling classic and confident.
