Floral Abstract Maxidress

Hi, lovelies!
I wore this dress for the first time last week to a lake side dinner and fell in love with it. There are so many things I love about this dress! The key hole detailing, the surplice neckline, the sash, the tie-back neckline, the silky feeling fabric and of course the floral abstract print. It takes floral to a whole new level with the printed blocking of the fabric. There are so many details and just I can’t get enough of them! I purchased it on sale while spending some Kohl’s Cash a couple of weeks ago, and just saw that this dress is on clearance at Kohl’s. It comes in three other solid colors, which are all bright and beautiful.

The Milly purse and Calvin Klein sandals are from T.J. Maxx. My husband surprised me with this handbag because he knows just how much I love Milly and the color pink. I think he did an amazing job! The sandals I chose to pair with the dress matched perfectly with the deep blues in the dress. I loved the slimming t-strap and thought it would go perfectly with the fabric’s abstract lines.

I chose to bring out the colors in the dress with these elegant teardrop earrings. How I acquired these earrings was so fun! Another teacher at my school had the same ones, and every time she would wear them the other teachers and I would swoon over them! She bought another pair from Premier Designs Jewelry and for a Christmas gift exchange gave them as her gift. It got in the hands of several other teachers, before it finally ended with me. I was ecstatic and get a lot of wear out of them! They go with so many things and pick up the light to reflect all the pretty colors in the stones.

The sunglasses I purchased on my most recent trip to New York at Solstice sunglasses. The black and white caught my eye from the window and when I tried them on I immediately fell in love. Of course they are Kate Spade and feature the cutest little spade on the side!

The special guest in the last photo is Baby Girl, but we call her BG for short. She is the sweetest yorkie you will ever meet and never barks except for animals on the TV. It’s so funny! I am her second mommy and happily get to watch her whenever my mother-in-law leaves town. So happy I get to have doggy snuggles! Thanks for reading!
