Why Every Woman Needs a Chic Leather Jacket

If you ask me what my top 10 closet must-haves are, a moto jacket will definitely make the cut. Why you ask? Part of my criteria for being a closet must-have is versatility. A moto jacket is not only able to be worn winter, spring, summer and fall, but it also can be worn with just about anything you own. It is instantly chic and adds a little edge to any look. I promise you won’t regret buying one if you don’t already own one. It’s simply one of the most versatile pieces around. Don’t believe me? Read on to discover 10 outfits you can wear with a moto jacket, including a peek at my archives and ways I’ve styled them in the past!

Obviously, there are countless looks that you can create with a leather jacket and if you don’t have one, you need one, now! Below I’ve linked some of my favorite moto jackets for you. Don’t want to splurge on leather or appreciate vegan-friendly? Same here, girl! A faux leather jacket will have the same effect and bonus, it’s much cheaper! Here are my three favorites:

Topshop (Same brand and similar version to the one I’m wearing with an asymmetrical zipper, $90)

Express (Used to own this one and loved it so much I wore it out. It’s $98, but can get it way cheaper with their sales and coupons they have often)

Blank  NYC (Absolutely adore this slim and ultra chic, feminine cut, $98)

Finally, I want to end with something that’s been on my mind. Just like there are 12 music notes and it is inevitable that song tunes will be similar at times, there are only so many things you can do in the world of fashion. That is why you see decades repeat fashion, and Instagram feeds or Pinterest accounts full of similar looks. I am certainly not the first to pair a leather jacket with a maxi skirt, nor am I the first to talk about why every woman needs this closet staple.

At the end of the day, I share my style with you. And just a reminder to all, be true to who you are. Don’t compare yourself to others.

Wear what you love and makes you feel great. Keep representing fashion in the way that represents your style! Your confidence and personality will be the highlight of any outfit!
