Why You Don’t Want to Miss Nordstrom’s #NSale

I know it’s still summer and if you’re anything like me you are fully embracing all that it entails. I’ve been thriving off of summer fashion favorites such as sundresses, tank tops, shorts, swimsuits, and bikini coverups. And yet somehow the Nordstrom Sale comes in strong with fall fashion taunting you with amazing prizes. But really? Just the thought of wearing sweaters or boots has me sweating. Now that there are only three days left of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (last day to purchase is August 7th) I’ve found myself really investigating whether or not to jump in on the bandwagon. If you’ve been hesitant like me, here are three reasons that might convince you it’s worth it.

1. It won’t be on sale for long.

Why pay full price for something you can get on sale? To me, this is really what the sale is all about. You have the opportunity now to plan ahead and make some investments into your fall wardrobe. By doing this, you will be saving a ton of money come fall when all you are thinking about is fall clothing! I’m sure there will already be things in the fall that were in the Nordstrom sale and I won’t be able to quit whining about why I didn’t get it sooner. I just need to remind myself, “You know you’re going to be getting this anyway!” Plus, as I’ve always heard said… Life is short. Buy the shoes!

2. Nordstrom has an amazing return policy.

Actually, they don’t have one. Trust me, read it on their website and you’ll see what I mean. To me this is huge. Often I’ll buy things on sale and am not able to return later. Of any store I know, Nordstrom really has the best return policy out there. There’s no need to fear buying something you’ll regret, because you can always return it later! That right there saves me a lot of shopping stress, because I’m guilty of over-buying at times. Who else is with me?!

3. Fall is just around the corner.

Now you may be thinking this sale is over-hyped, but in my opinion it’s definitely worth it. Wait a second, how can I think it’s over-hyped and worth it at the same time?! Because the prices are incredibly low and fall is just around the corner. My tip for shopping this sale is to prioritize your needs versus your wants. Look for gaps in your wardrobe and make sure you fill those first. Don’t forget the basics! This sale is an amazing time to stock up on those basics you know you’ll be purchasing anyway.
