As a Kindergarten teacher, I am known as creative and full of energy. I love my students so much and this past year has brought so many sweet memories. One day during a shoe tying lesson, I had a student ask why I never have shoes that need tying. Before I even had an opportunity to answer, another student shouted, “Because she loves fashion!” They know me so well and always know how to bring a smile to my face! As we ended the year with a Kindergarten graduation, and knowing I had to speak in front of everyone, I planned my outfit to portray a creative professional.
I’m so glad that I found this floral blazer at Nordstrom Rack. The truth is that it took me a second trip to the store before I actually purchased it! It was one of those moments where you’re waiting in line to check out and something else catches your eye. You have that moment of struggle as you decide between losing your spot at check out or ignoring all temptations that whatever caught your eye would look so great in your wardrobe. I ended up resisting the urge, which at the time felt so rewarding. However, upon return of my second trip, I purchased it with exchange money from items I returned. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and went straight to the spot it was at! Thankfully, they had one left in my size. I suppose I’ll have to defeat temptation another day!
