Hi everyone! For my first blog post I want to share a little about myself.
My name is Molly and I have always loved expressing myself through my style. I remember when I was an early teenager, my friends were taking a questionnaire and when asked whose style they most admired, they listed me! I never considered myself to have outstanding style nor have I ever strived to be somebody I’m not in a world of amazing fashion. I just love feeling put-together. I love it when people ask about what I’m wearing, because I am excited to share it. That’s why I started my blog. I want to share my passion and hope to inspire others as much as other fashionistas inspire me. I’ve had others define my style as timeless, classy, girly, sophisticated, and elegant, but I’ll let you be the judge of that for yourself!
What I do: am a Kindergarten teacher and I have been teaching for seven years. The five and six year olds I get to work with are the greatest part of my job! My Bachelor’s degree is in Early Childhood Education. On my list of things to pursue next is child psychology. That field fascinates me and I love getting my hands on books that involve that topic!
Where I am from: I was born and raised in the Seattle area and absolutely love the Pacific Northwest. It brings so much green scenery and gorgeous places for hiking. It may be true we get a lot of rainy days, but the days filled with sunshine are so worth living here.
What I like to do: I have been dancing since I was three years old and seriously pursued it until my teaching career took off. I still love to dance any chance I get, which has included teaching dance after school. I enjoy staying active with yoga, hiking, and biking too.
Other interesting facts:
Besides teaching, fashion, dancing, and the outdoors, I love God, spending time with my family, eating Paleo, and using essential oils. I am 5’9″ which I only feel important to mention because I get asked all the time. It doesn’t define me, but it does make shopping interesting!
I married my best friend in May of 2013 and he is my biggest supporter. I couldn’t do this without him, because it’s his encouragement and amazing photography that keeps me going!
