You all know I love to write about fashion, but sometimes there are greater things on my heart. I love to combine fashion with my passion for personal growth so today I’m changing things up a bit and sharing my thoughts to a question that’s been looming over my mind: Why do we spend so much time worrying about what others think about us? It shouldn’t matter. That’s not to say we shouldn’t consider the feelings of others, because I strongly believe that empathy and kindness are two things this world needs more of. We need more people who are aware of how others feel and respond accordingly with compassion and understanding. However, we also need people to be themselves.
You may have heard the phrase “Once a ballerina, always a ballerina,” and if you’re anything like me, you completely agree! I started ballet when I was three years old and pursued it with every bit of passion that I put into everything that I do. As often as I can I take the time out of my busy schedule to just dance. Whether it be in the small confined spaces of my living room or a drop in class at a local studio, I am all about expressing myself through the beautiful movement of dance! To me, there’s nothing more freeing than moving to music and letting the rest of the world and its’ challenges disappear.
To honor my years of ballet, I love to create street style fashion inspired by ballerinas. Today I’m sharing with you four tips to embrace your inner ballerina and create a street style outfit that is on point, as well as some fun facts about me and my dancing days!
I’ve been eagerly counting down the days until the release of my Style Miss Molly by Everly ring collection, and today is the day! In curating this collection, I wanted to fuse the endless beauty of these enchanting rings with the encouragement and positivity that so many women need. Beauty is not about what a woman wears or how her jewelry sparkles. True beauty is found in a woman’s character, which shines from the inside out. A woman is defined by the compassion she shows towards others, the humility that comes across through her actions, and the positivity and strength she brings as she faces the challenges of each day. It is my passion for this collection to correspond with those qualities found in the hearts of beautiful women like you.
With just eight days left of teaching Kindergarten and the hint of summer around the corner, I am already planning all of my summer looks! A maxi dress is a staple in my summer wardrobe for so many reasons. Not only do they look incredibly elegant when worn, but I also adore how effortless they are to wear. I can throw it on in a rush out the door and still look incredibly put together for the day. Styling takes minimal effort and I appreciate keeping cool and looking fashionable at the same time. Over the years of wearing maxi dresses, I’ve found some dos and don’ts for myself. Today I share them with you!
Today officially marks one year of blogging! It’s been a beautiful journey and I have grown in so many ways – not only in numbers, but also in experience.
