There is something beautifully compelling about being in nature. Most of you know me as Style Miss Molly — a fashionista who loves all things girly and loves to dress up. However, today I’m sharing with you a part of me I never have before, and a part of me I’ve only recently come to realize just how passionate about it I am. The truth is, I have never felt more myself than when I hike. My soul longs for it, my mind thrives off of it, my body appreciates it. You could say that I’m a fashionista turned mountaineer, but there’s no reason why I can’t be both. I’m a true adventurer, eager to explore the breathtaking views in this world. I discovered myself while hiking the beautiful mountains of the Pacific Northwest. It continues to strengthen my body and my mind and teaches me endless amounts of valuable life skills every time I go out. Read more for seven life lessons the mountains have taught me.

Summer is finally in full swing in Seattle and with the warm sunshine and breathtaking Pacific Northwest views, my wardrobe is in serious need of some fresh summer clothes to accompany the summer fun. Every year, I indulge just a bit with a summer fashion spree around the 4th of July. Not only are there many great sales going on for summer fashion, but let’s face it, July is when summer really starts in Seattle.
Take this guide as your summer guide to shopping online. I’ve got my best shopping tips, great sales this weekend with some extending later in the month, as well as all my favorite places to shop including my favorites picks for the summer. I hope you can escape a few moments to yourself this holiday for a bit of shopping, but let’s never forget the historical significance of this day and how extremely fortunate we are to live in this country.

Many of you know me, Miss Molly, as the ever-positive and always optimistic person who embodies joy, encouragement, and hope. That is, after all, why I started #MollysWords. But “Molly’s Words” actually started from sharing my own vulnerable experiences about my life. The real, the raw, the not so pretty trials many of us face, in hopes to let those suffering know that they are not alone and to share that there is always hope.
The very thought of putting the words onto paper (or in this case mass publication on the internet) frightens me. I hold back with fear at the idea of sharing something so personal, only a few people in my life understand or know about it. But the idea that my story may help someone battling the same battle makes it all worth it. So as I open up once again, I share with you something I’ve recently struggled with — depression. I am that girl who lost her smile.
Many of you have asked about my beauty routine and how I have such great skin. First of all, let tell you, it hasn’t always been that way. After I started transitioning products to natural skin care I started noticing a big difference. Today, I’m very excited to partner with a brand who shares the same beauty philosophy as me — Healing Natural Oils. Natural care is the way to go, my friends! Not only do they avoid all the harsh ingredients I do not want to be absorbed into my body, but their natural plant based ingredients really work. Today I’m getting a little personal on my skin care problems and talking about what I do to help them.
